NMFC 106500 – Nickel-Plated Rivets | Class 65

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Verify the item fits this listing: nickel-plated rivets that are not buffed or polished. If the finish is polished, recheck the NMFC before tendering.
2. Use containment inside boxes—bag loose rivets or place them in small inner cartons to prevent spillout. Seal seams and palletize with stretch wrap and corner boards.
3. Mark the BOL with NMFC 106500 and Class 65. This is a fixed class; no density calculation is required, but include accurate piece counts and actual weight.
4. Protect against moisture during transit. Nickel plating helps, but dry, closed containers and top-sheeted pallets reduce tarnish risk and carton collapse.
