NMFC 106760 - Spark Plug Shells/Bushings | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List on the BOL: “Spark plug shells or shell bushings, iron or steel, NMFC 106760, Class 70, boxed” to lock the correct rating.
2. Pack small metal shells in partitioned cartons or trays, add VCI paper to limit corrosion, fill voids with kraft or foam, and seal with 2-inch tape.
3. Keep each box under 50 lb for safer handling; palletize with 4-way entry pallets, corner boards, and stretch wrap, then label “Box X of Y.”
4. Do not mix with ceramics, lubricants, or assembled plugs; segregate and declare separately to avoid reclass or unexpected accessorials.
