NMFC 106940 - Tubular Spacers/Separators | Class 55

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List on the BOL: “Spacers or Separators, NOI, tubular — NMFC 106940, Class 55.” Use clear counts and box quantities to avoid reclass.
2. Pack tubular pieces in sturdy corrugated boxes with end caps or dividers. Band or shrink-wrap internal bundles to prevent telescoping and metal-on-metal scuffing.
3. Add corrosion control for steel: dry parts before boxing, use VCI paper or poly liners, and absorbent pads if light oil is present to keep cartons clean.
