NMFC 110030 - Acid Chamber Residuum in Drums | Class 55

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 110030 and “Acid Chamber Residuum, liquid or paste, in drums” on the BOL, and select Class 55 for rating.
2. Match the drum to the state: closed-head drums for liquids, open-head with gasketed lids for paste; tighten bungs/rings to spec.
3. Palletize drums upright with drum boards or cradles, band and stretch-wrap with top caps, and place absorbent pads or a tray liner under the load.
4. Provide per-drum count and weights, note liquid or paste on paperwork, and request liftgate or drum-handling gear for dense, heavy units.
