NMFC 116350 - Can Opening & Crushing Machines | Class 125

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Crate or box the machine with internal bracing so hoppers, belts, and cutting heads can’t move; add blocking at the base to keep the center of gravity low.
2. Secure all loose parts: lock out power, strap down conveyors, pad sharp edges on can openers and crushers, and bag small hardware inside the crate.
3. Choose a 4‑way liftable skid or skid-mount the crate; avoid overhang and mark lift points and center of gravity for safe LTL handling.
4. Print NMFC 116350 and Class 125 on the BOL; label “Do Not Stack” if the crate can’t bear top load and note total pieces for multi-crate systems.
