1. Rate and book at Class 125 under NMFC 121640; include this item number on the BOL so carriers rate it correctly without density.
2. Use rigid boxes or wood crates with inner trays and foam to prevent puncture or abrasion; seal and band the container to limit movement.
3. Palletize securely: strap the box/crate to a 48x40 pallet, add corner boards, shrink wrap tightly, and mark orientation arrows and handling notes.
