1. List NMFC 130205 and Class 100 on the BOL with the commodity description “Walk-behind snow blowers, boxed/crated” to prevent reclass or billing disputes.
2. Prep each unit dry: drain fuel and oils, cap lines, and label “No Fuel/No Oil.” New OEM units typically ship dry; used units must be purged before pickup.
3. Stabilize the auger and chute inside the box or crate using blocks, foam, or straps. Guard control cables, handlebars, and chute rotation gear with corner boards.
