NMFC 131920 - Tractor Hood & Tank Assemblies | Class 100

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Use rigid, skidded crates with internal blocking to immobilize hoods and protect tank necks, brackets, and vents; fill voids with foam or corrugated pads.
2. Drain and cap tank assemblies, bag openings, and mark orientation with “This Side Up.” Add corner protectors and “Do Not Fork Here” near thin panels.
3. Rate and book as NMFC 131920, Class 100. Capture exterior crate length, width, height, and weight accurately on the BOL to prevent reclass fees.
4. When shipping to farm dealers or job sites, request a liftgate and ensure fork openings are clear on two sides for safe handling and quick unloads.
