To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Measure the packed box or crate and total weight to calculate PCF; your density determines the freight class under NMFC 132680.
2. Use sturdy boxes for household uprights and canisters; crate commercial or wheeled lawn vacuums and block wheels to prevent roll and fan damage.
3. Empty dust bins and recovery tanks, remove loose bags, cap ports, and coil cords or hoses to avoid leaks and abrasion during LTL handling.
4. Shipping only tools or attachments? Verify if they fall under item 132682 to prevent reclassification and rebills.
