1. Use NMFC 132800 when booking LTL for boxed or crated overhead car wash assemblies and components; enter Class 100 to avoid reclass and surprise charges.
2. Drain water lines and pumps, cap all ports, and remove detergents before packing. Dry the unit so packages don’t leak or stain other freight.
3. Stabilize spray booms, manifolds, and rotating arms with internal blocking. Wrap nozzles and sensors, then add tip-and-shock indicators for handling visibility.
4. Choose rigid packaging: double‑wall cartons or wooden crates counted as packages. Strap the package to a pallet as one handling unit and label center of gravity.
