NMFC 135890 – Manganese-Copper in Drums | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Print NMFC 135890 and Class 70 on the BOL to lock in a fixed class; density is not required for rating.
2. Use tight-closing steel drums (closed-head or bolt-ring) and line with heavy poly to prevent fines from escaping; mark gross and net weight per drum.
3. Palletize 2–4 drums on a 48×40 pallet with chime protectors, anti-slip sheets, and two crisscross straps; stretch wrap to stabilize for LTL cross-docks.
4. Request forklift-friendly pickup and note Non-Hazmat; avoid double-stacking unless drums and pallets are rated for it, or use drum pallets with top caps.
