NMFC 146530 - Posts, aiming, steel, in boxes | Class 85

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Enter NMFC 146530 with Class 85 in your TMS and select packaging as boxes to prevent reclass charges on steel aiming posts.
2. Use double-wall cartons with end-cap cushioning and edge protectors so the steel tips don’t punch through the box during LTL handling.
3. Wrap posts with VCI paper or film and add desiccant inside the box to limit corrosion in humid linehaul environments.
4. Bundle multiple boxed units on a pallet for safer forklift handling, keep the footprint square, and mark gross weight and “Do Not Clamp.”
