Note 147182: NOTE-Class applies only on tents combined with skid or runner mounted bodies or two wheeled carts with wheels removed, with draw-bar or tongue removed, with or without equipment of furniture or furnishings for living.

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Confirm eligibility with Note 147182: ship the camp or tourist trailer as a boxed or crated kit; exclude loose accessories or any fuel cylinders.
2. Choose robust crates or double-wall boxes with internal blocking and bracing; secure couplers, frames, and panels to prevent racking during LTL handling.
3. Provide forklift-ready access (4-way pallet or skid under the crate), keep center of gravity low, and use edge protection on corners and drawbars.
4. Print NMFC 147180 and Class 150 on the BOL; include exact piece count, dimensions, and weight for quoting even though the class is fixed.
