NMFC 148220 – Military Water Purification, Boxed | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Pack units in sturdy double-wall boxes with custom foam blocking; cap all inlets/outlets and bag filters or membranes to keep them clean and dry.
2. List NMFC 148220 and Class 70 on the BOL; call out any bundled pipe by count and length, and use end caps and edge protectors on bundles.
3. Consolidate multiple boxes on one pallet, keep heavy pumps low, strap and stretch-wrap tightly, and add corner boards to prevent crush damage.
4. Before pickup, drain residual water or disinfectant, secure loose accessories (hoses, gauges, cables), include a complete packing list, and photograph each box for records.
