NMFC 155070 - Petrolatum-Resin-Paraffin Wax Compound | Class 55

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 155070 and Class 55 on the BOL, and describe the freight as a petrolatum–resin–paraffin wax compound with at least 60% resin for clear identification.
2. Select leak-resistant packaging: lined steel or fiber drums for liquids/soft mass, or poly-lined cartons for slabs; double-bag pellets or flakes to contain seepage in warm weather.
3. Palletize with a catch tray or corrugated layer, then stretch-wrap and band. Avoid top-stacking in hot trailers and request temperature control during summer if the blend softens.
4. Attach an SDS and mark Non-Hazardous to speed carrier acceptance. Confirm pallet weights and drum counts for liftgate or appointment needs at plants and blending facilities.
