NMFC 167370 – Wooden Rail Filler Blocks | Class 60

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Band blocks into tight, uniform bundles with edge protectors, then place on pallets so forklifts can lift cleanly and bundles don’t shift.
2. List on the BOL as “Rail Filler Blocks, wooden, in bundles – NMFC 167370, Class 60, non-hazardous” to prevent reclass or inspection delays.
3. Trim or tuck strap tails and avoid protruding fasteners; keep bundle ends flush to stack safely against other railway materials.
4. Keep product dry and segregate from creosote-treated timbers; moisture and cross-contamination can invite rewraps or damage claims.
