NMFC 174090 - Shade Rollers/Sticks | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 174090 and Class 70 on the BOL, and describe the goods as “Shade Rollers or Shade Sticks” to prevent reclass.
2. Use strong corrugated tubes or cartons with end caps; bundle with stretch wrap and add edge protection to prevent crush or bowing.
3. Palletize long bundles with chocks or cradle rails; strap every 24–36 inches and keep length below common 96" overlength thresholds.
4. Record exact L x W x H and take packaging photos before pickup; density isn’t needed for class, but measurements and proof aid claims.
