NMFC 174145 - Steel Venetian Blind Channels | Class 50

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. On the BOL, cite: “NMFC 174145, Channels or Fasciae, Venetian Blind, Steel, painted or not, punched or not,” and apply Class 50 for all versions.
2. For stock lengths, bundle channels with edge guards, add VCI wrap for bare steel, then place in a long box or a wooden crate to prevent bowing.
3. For cut-to-size fasciae, separate painted pieces with paper or foam sheets, bag small parts, and pack tightly in cartons to stop rub and rattle; mark “Sharp Edges.”
4. Palletize long boxes or crates lengthwise; use 2–3 steel or poly straps and corner protectors, and add “Do Not Stack” if thin-gauge parts are prone to bending.
