To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Match your shipment to the proper shells description (natural shells, decorative pieces, or assortments) and note whether items are raw or cleaned/processed.
2. Bag small shells before boxing; use dividers and foam or paper to cushion fragile edges. Double‑wall cartons stop crushing of heavier lots.
3. Palletize gently: corner boards, a top cap, and stretch wrap with light tension. Mark Fragile—Shells and This Side Up to reduce handling impacts.
4. Document net weight, piece count, and packaging type. Add Non‑Hazardous—Natural Shells on the BOL, and check any CITES/APHIS restrictions for species.
