NMFC 182385 - Glazed Steel/Iron Tile | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Use rigid boxes or wood crates with foam interleaf sheets and edge guards so the glaze or enamel doesn’t scuff; avoid metal strapping touching finished faces.
2. Palletize flat with limited stack height; add corner posts and a top cap, then stretch-wrap and label Do Not Top Load and Fragile Finish for terminal handling.
3. List NMFC 182385, Class 70 on the BOL and note glazed/enameled, mounted or not, plus piece count and packaging type (boxes or crates); density entry not required.
4. For jobsite deliveries, book liftgate or appointment accessorials and choose carriers familiar with tile/fixtures to reduce breakage during mixed LTL transfers.
