1. Mark the BOL with NMFC 191730 and Class 300; note if shipped loose or crated and list total length to anticipate overlength fees.
2. For crated loads, build a rigid frame with blocking and banding at mounting points, add fork-entry skids, and stencil Do Not Stack on panels.
3. If shipping loose, secure to a robust skid with steel banding, use edge protectors on rails, cap sharp ends, and wrap bare steel with VCI or corrosion barrier.
4. Call out lift points and center of gravity on the package; share photos with the carrier to guide forklift handling and reduce claim risk.
