Note 194361: NOTE-Printed circuit boards designed and intended for use as parts or components of data processing machines, systems or devices are subject to item 116030, naming 'Machines, Systems or Devices, data processing, or Parts thereof, NOI.'

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Verify the material fits the rule: bare printed circuit boards without separately manufactured electronics, or laminated copper-plastic frames/trimmings only.
2. Document actual value at or below $0.10/lb to retain the reclamation rating; include a value affidavit or recycler purchase order on the BOL.
3. Pack in sturdy packages: use lined gaylords or cartons on pallets, banded and stretch-wrapped to contain sharp edges and prevent copper shards from escaping.
4. Keep e-waste clean and segregated from data-processing machine components, batteries, or liquids to avoid reclassification and disposal surcharges.
