NMFC 36590 - Floor & Vault Light Frames | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 36590 and Class 70 on the BOL, and specify “frames only” to avoid confusion with glazing or prism panels.
2. Bundle frames flat with dunnage between layers, use edge protectors, and apply steel or heavy poly banding; shrink wrap alone is not sufficient.
3. Palletize for forklift handling and urban deliveries; for loose singles or custom shapes, consider a wood crate to shield corners and mounting lugs.
4. Note site restrictions for sidewalk or vault deliveries (liftgate, appointment, limited access), and mark orientation if frames have directional hardware.
