To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Verify which of the two published classes fits your shipment; packaging condition (crated or palletized versus loose or bundled) typically determines whether it rates lower or higher within the 85–300 range.
2. Protect roundness and finishes: nest hoops, add foam at contact points, band with plastic strapping and edge protectors, and block inside the crate so pieces can’t ovalize during transit.
3. Manage dimensions for LTL: keep bundles on a 48x40 pallet when possible and limit longest piece length to avoid overlength fees; clearly note any pieces over 96 inches on the BOL.
4. Separate and label hardware kits and brackets, list ring diameters and piece counts on the paperwork, and photograph packaging before pickup to support smooth claims handling.
