NMFC 52410 - Stop Cock/Valve Indicator Posts | Class 60

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List the freight as “Stop Cock/Valve Indicator Posts,” apply NMFC 52410, and mark Class 60 on the BOL to prevent inspection reclass.
2. Bundle long steel or ductile iron posts in 3–6 units with steel banding on wood skids; cap threads and flanges and add end guards to prevent puncture damage.
3. Keep bundle length flush with the pallet and avoid overhang; mark center of gravity and request long-freight handling if pieces exceed 96 inches.
