To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Identify the item precisely: cyclone separator housing (steel/FRP) or empty drum (metal/plastic). Note material, size, and any ports or flanges on paperwork.
2. For cyclones, cap or cover all inlets/outlets, remove fragile gauges, and crate or band to a pallet with blocking to prevent roll or tip. Measure the widest flange and overall height.
3. For drums, confirm they’re empty and clean. Ship upright on pallets with rings or stretch wrap, add chocks to stop rolling, and nest drums if allowed to save space.
4. Because class is N/A, share photos, dimensions, and packaging details with your carrier to secure the correct exception/commodity handling and avoid reclass fees.
