NMFC 78120 - Peaches, Prepaid | Class N/A

Note 78122: NOTE-Applies only on fresh peaches in their own juice or sugared for preservation during transit, but not frozen.

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Pre-cool peaches and book refrigerated LTL with a 32–34°F setpoint; add a temperature recorder to verify the cold chain from dock to receiver.
2. Pack in vented cartons or RPCs with trays and pads to curb bruising; unitize on 40×48 GMA pallets with corner boards and tight stretch wrap—no overhang.
3. Mark the BOL clearly: “Peaches, prepaid.” Include carton count, pallet quantity, and net weight, plus reefer instructions for drivers and terminals.
4. Avoid mixing with ethylene-sensitive greens and odor-heavy freight; schedule early-week pickups to limit dwell time and ripening during transit.
