NMFC 87760 – Glass Bowls & Aquariums, Sealed | Class 85

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Use double-wall cartons with molded foam or die-cut inserts to immobilize each glass piece; polybag the unit to contain condensation and protect labels.
2. Mark all panels “This Side Up” and “Fragile—Liquid Filled.” In cold weather, add “Do Not Freeze” to prevent expansion cracks in sealed water displays.
3. Palletize upright on a 48x40 with no overhang; add corner boards and a top cap, then stretch-wrap with at least 50% overlap. Never stack heavy freight on top.
4. On the BOL, specify NMFC 87760, Class 85, non-hazardous, packaging: boxes. No density needed. Consider limited access, residential, or liftgate for event venues.
