Overview
A lowboy is a specialized semi-trailer featuring two deck height reductions - one immediately after the gooseneck and another before the wheels. This design enables an exceptionally low deck profile compared to standard trailers.
The lowboy's distinctive low-deck design allows it to legally transport loads reaching 12 feet (3.66 meters) in height - a capability unavailable with conventional trailers.
Primary Applications
- Bulldozers and excavators
- Large-scale industrial machinery
