NMFC 107040 - Concrete Stirrups | Class 65

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Bundle same-size stirrups tightly (e.g., 25–50 per bundle), cap sharp ends, and place bundles in cartons or shrink-wrapped packages before palletizing.
2. List the commodity as “Stirrups, concrete or plaster reinforcement, in packages — NMFC 107040, Class 65” on the BOL to avoid reclass from generic terms like rebar.
3. Use corner protectors and banding over corrugated pads to prevent strap damage, keeping all packages within the pallet footprint with no overhang.
