1. List NMFC 107060 on the BOL with “Strip Steel, NOI, other than gold plated”; include coil or bundle count, widths, thicknesses, and total weight to avoid reclass.
2. Secure coils eye-to-the-sky on skids with chocks; band tightly with steel or PET strapping, add edge protectors, and use anti-telescoping bars for narrow widths.
3. Protect finish and control moisture: wrap with VCI paper or poly, note oiled vs dry on documents, and cap cores to reduce rust during multi-stop LTL moves.
