How to Determine Your Class
To find the correct freight class for your shipment:
- Quote and bill as NMFC 107140 at Class 50; no density data is required for rating.
- Bundle sheet stacks with steel strapping and edge protectors, then secure to a flush 4‑way pallet or platform with zero overhang.
- For lacquered or painted plate, add slip sheets and VCI or stretch wrap to prevent scuffs and moisture staining during LTL handling.
- Label packages with piece count, sheet size, and finish (plain/lacquered/painted), and reference NMFC 107140; review Note 107142 for any special definitions.
