NMFC 108005 - AC condenser shading kits | Class 100

Note 108006: NOTE-Applies only on kits consisting of fiberglass screen cloth with an aluminum frame and aluminum supports. Frame and supports must each be disassembled for shipment.

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List the item on the BOL as “Kits, air conditioner condenser shading, NMFC 108005” and select Class 100; include carton count and any pallet detail.
2. Package as complete kits in rigid boxes. Bag all fasteners, cushion brackets, and prevent hardware from piercing the carton with inner pads or partitions.
3. Review the referenced Note, item 108006, to confirm the scope and ensure you’re rating the shading kit itself, not the AC unit or unrelated accessories.
4. For multi-box shipments, unitize on a pallet with corner boards and stretch wrap. Keep cartons within the pallet footprint and label “This Side Up” if applicable.
