NMFC 108280 - Shaving Kits in Boxes | Class 70

Note 108282: NOTE-Applies only when consisting of shaving preparations or lotions and razor blades or one nonelectric razor, with or without deodorants or hair care preparations.

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Book at Class 70 and list NMFC 108280 on the BOL. Describe as “Kits, shaving, in boxes” and include carton counts for clean, fast rating.
2. Prepare contents to prevent movement: sheath razor blades, cap razors, and bag any gels or lotions. Use dividers or foam so kits stay snug inside each box.
3. Choose rigid corrugated cartons (double-wall for heavy metal handles). Fill voids and tape all seams; mark orientation if liquids are inside the kit.
4. Palletize on 48x40 with no overhang, stretch-wrap tightly, and add a top cap. Keep stacks uniform; for example, 20 master cartons per pallet for easy handling.
