NMFC 108420 - Wooden Furniture Finishing Kits | Class 70

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 108420 (Class 70) and Hazmat on the BOL; include SDS and a 24‑hour emergency contact.
2. Pack kits in rigid boxes; use UN-rated packaging when solvents are included. Seal inner containers, add absorbent, and separate with dividers.
3. Apply required hazmat marks; if liquids are inside, add orientation arrows. Book with a hazmat-authorized LTL carrier.
4. Verify NMFC Note, item 108422, for kit-specific provisions and exceptions before tendering.
