To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 110450 and Class 70 on the BOL; rating is fixed for boxed lead tags, so no density calculation is needed.
2. Use double-wall corrugated boxes with inner liners or poly bags to contain small chips or residue; add dividers to prevent edge abrasion.
3. Palletize evenly on a 48x40 pallet, keep box weights in the 40–60 lb range for safe handling, then stretch-wrap and cross-band for stability.
4. Label boxes “Lead Tags—Metal” and keep markings visible; clear ID speeds inspections and reduces over/short/damaged (OS&D) issues.
