NMFC 117140 - Butter Molding Machine Boxes | Class 100

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 117140 and Class 100 on the BOL. Note if units are mounted on trucks, KD (knocked down), or without trucks, and whether packed in boxes or crates.
2. If mounted on trucks/casters, chock wheels and band the unit to a skid; brace and block inside the crate so the assembly cannot roll or shift in transit.
3. For KD shipments, bundle panels and frames, cap sharp edges, and wrap with moisture barrier film; then box or crate and label piece counts for receiving.
4. Provide accurate dimensions and weight even though class is fixed; add handling marks like This Side Up and Do Not Tip, and include photos of interior bracing to avoid inspection delays.
