NMFC 120875 - Escalators & Parts | Class 100

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Label each piece as SU section or KD unit on the BOL and crate, and mark the center of gravity on long truss sections for safer handling.
2. Crate balustrades, steps, and drive components with rigid blocking; secure motors and gearboxes to skids using 4x4 cribbing and through-bolts to prevent shift.
3. Plan handling for oversize lengths: keep height under 84 in when possible and request forklift extensions or side loading for sections over 12 ft.
4. Combine chains, rollers, controllers, and small spares into sturdy packages and list as Parts NOI under NMFC 120875 to maintain Class 100.
