NMFC 130750 - CO2 Storage Tanks with Cooling | Class 85

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List NMFC 130750 and Class 85 on the BOL, describing the item as a carbon dioxide storage tank/receiver with cooling or freezing apparatus (with or without heaters).
2. Block and brace the vessel on steel skids or saddles; cap and label all ports, protect controls and compressors, and secure relief valves and gauges against impact.
3. Ship in the manufacturer-approved orientation: upright via lifting lugs or horizontal in cradles; mark center of gravity and forklift points for safe LTL handling.
4. Before pickup, drain and purge lines, verify zero working pressure, lock out electrical circuits for the cooling/freezing system, and include handling instructions with the unit.
