3. Protect iron/steel surfaces: cap open flanges, plug nozzles, add VCI wrap, then shrink-wrap and band to steel or hardwood skids with forklift pockets.
4. For heavy lifts, use spreader bars and rated lift points; for LTL sections, keep protrusions within pallet footprint and add blocking to withstand cross-dock handling.
