To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Print NMFC 133760 and Class 70 on the BOL, and list packaging as bundled packages to match the tariff wording; density details are not required for this item.
2. Band channels into tight, square bundles with edge protectors so straps don’t bite into softer magnesium; shrink wrap or stretch film helps keep loose legs from snagging.
3. Stage bundles on wood runners or pallets to give forklift tine clearance, and mark no-top-load if the channel profile could crush under stacked freight.
4. Do not mix channels with other magnesium shapes in the same package; keep channels packaged separately to avoid reclass and simplify receiving counts.
