NMFC 143730 - Pumping Power Units on Skids | Class 85

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Mark the BOL with “Powers, pumping” and NMFC 143730, and note whether the unit is packaged or shipped on a skid for clear handling instructions.
2. Cap hydraulic and fuel ports, disconnect or protect electrical leads, and band the unit to a solid skid with edge protectors; crate or shrink-wrap to contain accessories.
3. Lower risk by draining residual fuel and oils when feasible, labeling lift points and center of gravity, and providing forklift or sling clearance on the skid.
4. From well sites or yards without docks, request liftgate or rigging support and specify any oversize controls or guards that extend beyond the skid footprint.
