2. Secure the mast fully lowered and latched; pad lighting heads, chock wheels, and use four tie-down points. Example: two 2-inch ratchet straps per side across axle mounts.
3. Drain fuel and disconnect batteries to keep the shipment non-hazardous, then note “fuel drained” in special instructions for carrier clarity.
4. Avoid liftgates; request dock or flatbed pickup. Share full length including tongue and deployed stabilizers to prevent re-delivery or accessorial delays.
