To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Rate and tender at Class 100 and list NMFC 147690 on the BOL. Specify packaging as boxes and include a manifest calling out boats, treadways, siderails, and paddles.
2. Nest assault boats in the same orientation within each box. Pad metal treadways and siderails with edge guards and VCI paper to prevent abrasion and corrosion during cross-dock handling.
3. Unitize: strap and wrap boxed components to a 48×40 heat‑treated pallet; apply 360° stretch wrap and corner protectors. Example: two boat cartons plus one component box per pallet, under 72 inches tall.
