To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Confirm the goods are solid plastic or rubber (not foam, cellular, expanded, or sponge). For foam-based items, pivot to item 156600 instead.
2. Consult Item 110, Sec. 15 and Note 156502 to locate the exact sub-item before booking; this header groups eligible products but class depends on the specific article.
3. Package to prevent scuffs and deformation: poly-bag parts, add corrugated dividers, and brace cartons. Palletize with no overhang, use corner boards, and apply tight stretch wrap.
4. Document material and build details on the BOL: resin or rubber type (ABS, HDPE, PVC, EPDM), presence of metal inserts, piece count, and packaging method to speed class confirmation.
