NMFC 160270 - Steel Pole-Line Hardware | Class 50

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List “NMFC 160270, Class 50” on the BOL; this item is fixed-class, so skip density-based quotes.
2. Bundle mast arms and crossarm braces with steel or plastic banding; cap ground rod tips and bag small brackets, pins, and rings to prevent loss.
3. Palletize mixed steel fittings; center and strap the longest pieces, and flag anything over 96 inches to manage carrier overlength fees.
4. Add blocking around insulator brackets and horns to avoid bending; apply rust-inhibitor wrap if the freight may sit outdoors at terminals.
