NMFC 168560 - Vestibule Couplings/Diaphragms | Class 100

To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Use rigid cartons or crates sized to the folded bellows. Add edge protectors and foam blocking so metal hardware cannot puncture the folds.
2. Bundle multiple diaphragms only if they’re immobilized: interleave fiberboard sheets, strap with corner protectors, and mark Do Not Stack Heavy to prevent deformation.
3. Guard against moisture for fabric or rubber bellows with poly wrap or VCI liners; add desiccant when crating for rail-yard or coastal shipments.
4. On the BOL list NMFC 168560, Class 100, non-haz. While class isn’t density-based, include piece count and dimensions to avoid cubic-capacity disputes.
