To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. List on the BOL as “Roofing, zinc, corrugated, NMFC 170250, Class 70, non-haz” and include bundle or crate counts for quick check-in.
2. Use edge guards, interleaving sheets, and tight steel or poly banding on bundles to prevent scuffing and panel drift in transit.
3. For boxes or crates, block and brace panels so ribs cannot crush; add moisture barriers or VCI paper if shipping through humid or coastal lanes.
4. Load bundles long-side to the trailer when possible and avoid stacking on sharp edges; request a flat, clean pallet deck or dunnage contact points.
