1. Label each shipment as “Sizing, NOI,” include NMFC 176540 and Class 60, and note whether it’s dry (bags) or liquid/bulk (drums or pails).
2. Use inner containers in sturdy boxes for small pack sizes; for plant replenishment, palletize sealed drums or pails with top protection against moisture.
3. For dry powders or granules, ship in heavy-duty bags or Package 1457-compliant sacks; add liners and stretch-wrap to prevent leaks and sift-outs.
4. Examples: 5-gal pails of synthetic sizing on a 48x40 pallet with edge guards; 50-lb paper sizing bags stretch-wrapped with a moisture barrier sheet.
