To find the correct freight class for your shipment:

1. Drain fuel and oil from powered augers and cap vents; for manual T-handle diggers, tape blades closed and protect points before packing.
2. Guard the cutting edge or screw bit using plastic tip caps, corrugated sleeves, and zip ties so the bit cannot rotate or puncture packaging.
3. Choose packaging by weight: use a double-wall carton with foam blocking for single units; crate or strap two‑man frames upright on a pallet.
4. Mark the BOL with “NMFC 183635, see Note 183636,” list the number of bits and handles, and include exact dimensions using the longest bit length.
